Using windows 10 vlc 3 :

1. go to menu tools/preferences
2. “Video” tab then “Display”
3. enable “Fullscreen”
4. disable “Window decorations”
5. Output = automatic
6. Fullscreen video device = automatic

show “all” vlc settings (enhanced mode)

1. go to “Video”
2. play with checkboxes like disable “Embedded video” and “show media title on video” and enable “Always on top”…
3. go to “window properties” and set the “Video X coordinate” to the size of your main display (if you want to display on external screen). For example, my main display resolution is 1366×768 so i set X to 1366 and Y to 1
